Offsite Program (Lifeline Theatre - Chicago) • Adults 18+ Only
Lifeline Theatre’s tagline, “Big Stories Up Close” will be demonstrated again by bringing H.G. Wells’ beloved and influential work to the stage. A study of human nature when the social order is disrupted, ensemble members John Hildreth (adaptor) and Heather Currie (director) bring this story to Chicago as a live action sci-fi thriller.
This program has been partially funded through use of grant monies from AgeOptions.
Registration Required & Limited • Two Registrants Per Household
Registration (Flossmoor residents): Monday, June 2, 2025 at 9:30am.
Registration (non-Flossmoor residents): Monday, June 9, 2025 at 9:30am.
Payment of $10 per registrant (cash only) required.

Please note:
• Bus departs from the Library promptly at 12:30pm. Please be prepared to board the bus by 12:15pm.
We are unable to wait for late arriving registrants. *We plan to arrive back at the Library by 5:30pm. This is an estimated time of return and is subject to traffic conditions and other conditions that may be out of our control.
• NOTE: Lifeline Theatre seating information: The tallest step in the seating area is 9 1/2“. Seats are 17 3/8” wide, 18″ deep, and 16 1/2” tall. You must be able to walk up a slight ramp to enter the Lifeline Theatre building. If you have any questions regarding accessibility please inquire with Janet at the contact number listed above.
• Participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to boarding the bus.
• Participants are responsible for any beverages they order. Items must be paid for using your own funds.
• Food items are not available for purchase and food items cannot be brought into the theatre.
